it's expensive, but technically you must use the USCG approved fuel line material.

Is there a cheaper alternative? Don't see the CG checking that 1. I don't care if it's not CG approved, just has to make some tight turns.

Do you have a marine surplus store near you? I forget what I paid for mine, but it was much cheaper than what you can buy online.

Make sure it says this at least (look at the marking)
and, as Craig said, I bought mine at a surplus place (even though this stuff wasn't surplus) and I think I paid 7.50 /ft for fill and vent hose TOGETHER.
