240 sea hunter emblem dimensioned pdf

I paid a substantial sum to have a custom emblem made, turned out the price they gave me only got through the design phase. PM/email me if you'd like the dimensioned pdf, for anyone to use to make the emblem. Moderators, it'd be great if I could get it to you, and you could post it in the documents.

Does this mean there is a Sea Hunter on Galveston?  If so I'd love to see it.  I've got a 22-2, but I've never seen a Sea Hunter in the flesh.  I'm on Tiki.

No stainless will be too hard for my machine.  Probably plastic.  Yes the guy next door to my office does them but there has been a change of ownership over there and I don't think the new owner cares or knows much about boat stuff.

Tikidoc, it is. it's been modified from the glory days, and is now a center console. but it's a 240. to be honest, I have no clue what the difference is between the 240 sea hunter and 24 center console. mine used to look like the pic capt bob posted.

not vinyl graphics, plastic like the originals. any sign guy could crank these out with the correct graphics, that's why I wanted to get it out there. it's $100 for a pair with the guy I'm using.

Tiki, here's some pics of the progression. Bought it from Don, want to say he's on here. Flew out to Orlando, rented U-Haul, picked up boat in Ft. Pierce, drove it back. Also happen to be a member on here that was selling a Aquasport console, which I picked up in Tampa on the way out; I've since had it cut and sectioned, taller now, better height for standing and sitting. New transom, deleted aft well, gel coat, and bottom paint.

Looks great.  Did it come with the exterior refinished, or did you do it/have it done?  And how did you know you wanted this hull bad enough to drive it back all the way from Florida?  Had you been on one before?

Exterior has all been redone. I don't have the time nor inclination, and more importantly, storage. I've kept it at the fiberglass shop for a year, free rent! I grew up on a 19'6' and loved it, wanted to pay homage to that as well. I found a pretty slick 222 down south, but I could see myself wishing I had gotten the 24 footer. it's been so long since I did the research too, but I think I remember being torn between this and a ccp; I wanted the lower deadrise. interior is next winter, thinking of a short casting deck (if I can find some good hatches), deck coating - thinking of doing the safefloor system http://www.safe-floor.com/, leaning post & ttop.

I saw a 22-2 that was down in Padre and one with small twins in Corpus a while back.  Both looked pretty decent.  Was it either one of those?  I'm thinking about having a paint vs. gel coat job done on my 22-2.  Would you recommend the guy that did yours?

the 222 was in brownsville. i want to say it was $1000 including the trailer, pretty fair.  paint vs gel coat, pure preference. paint will save you money guaranteed, but I believe gel coat to be longer lasting. our 19-6 is a '73, it has the original gel coat, and it looks great. it's waxed before every season, always washed, and always under cover. I would highly recommend my guy, but I would NOT be in a hurry.
