So, you're going to have to spill the beans on the process and what kind of paint - the membership won't let you off that easy

Interlux Brightside paint, poly....sanded the the hull, filled all of the dings and cracks, sanded the hull again, fared it, wiped it down with the product Interlux recommended, 333 I think? sprayed on a coat of paint, now its recommended a 320 grit sanding, and repaint. Think Im going to have to fair it a lot more but my money and patience is running out so we will see.

The bottom paint is Marpac paint, a hard ablative paint.

So the brightside is poly based or for poly?  Is it two part?

Interlux Brightside Polyurethane is the most technically advanced one-part polyurethane available. It contains unique additives that make cleaning easier and help reduce stains and abrasion.

Brightside uses Polyflow 4000, a unique polyurethane resin, which yields excellent flow and leveling characteristics as well as incredible abrasion and chemical resistance. Brightside also takes advantage of the latest in ultraviolet technology which insures longer color and gloss retention.

Together these technologies create a one-part polyurethane which gives the look of a two-part polyurethane with the application ease of a one-part enamel.

Hmmm, wonder if it can be roll and tipped with good success?

I bought it specifically on the recommendation of a friend who uses it as a roll and tip paint. Then my painter friend wanted to spray it on...looks ok so far but i think rolling and tipping for the 1st coat would have been thicker and covered better.
