Hey everyone,
My brother is looking at a 1979 20' Mako. I'm a proud Aquasport owner but he's looking to get his first boat.Is there anything about this hull style I should look for when checking out the boat. Does anyone have any additional info about this hull?thanks for all the help.

In floor livewell, look for leaks and soft floor around the opening.  Foamed in tank, pull the hatch and check the foam condition...

Whats the plan for the old Mako, rebuild or run as is?  After 35 years those wooden stringers are more than likely mulch.

The plan was to run with it but unfortunely it was sold from under us. The search continues. Thanks for your help.
