Just bought one on west for $649, seemed like a great buy, and I've been wanting a larger display. Any feedback on it? My 545 will be for sale, always kept inside when not out on the boat. Works great.

Marc,
There was some decent discussion over on THT (I know.. goes against common sense) about that unit and some of the avail transducers. May be worth a read.

Thanks B, I was over there and I saw that, I also got a G2 Vision Card with a Jan 2014 date on it from one of the members on THT, great price also. So my 545 can go with the G2 Vision card already installed.

As much as I loathe west marine (even used to work there), that is a pretty good price for that unit. I have one on hold for me for after xmas (sale price is good till the end of the month).
Overall, from what I have read on the reviews I can find, its a pretty good unit, and has a decent display.
I compared the screen to the 5" and makes a big difference. (at least I can read this one!).

I pulled the main wiring harness this past weekend to just hook it up and run the GPS haven't pulled the ducer wire yet. Great display, and the touch screen, the bomb.. just have to get my waypoints transferred over from my 545 via the SD card I suppose, haven't gone into that part yet. And I did see where they were still be advertised for 649.
