Diesel, you've loaded up the pics perfectly to our CAS Photogallery :thumright:

EVERYONE gets freaked out after uploading, unfortunately.

Choose any pic you've uploaded.  Click on the pic you'd like to post...then scroll left to right.

When you get to the far right of your pic, you'll see two options. Thumbnail at the top, or nondescript on the bottom URL.

Just right click and "copy" the BOTTOM URL....this will be full size for posting.

Gets real easy after you've copied. No need to insert a URL paste, etc. Just .right click and Paste your pic anywhere in your post.

That's the good news on loading to the CAS Photogallery.

When its here....its here.

Welcome and glad you've joined :thumright:

Sorry fellas, Hijacked ID tag. Does not go with that engine. Transom bracket was completely different on a '64 model. Somebody gave her a new ID or in this case, old... Check it out 90HP at 4500 rpm on the rating (old days). The engine you have was rated at 5500 rpm. It looks like you have a 79-83 vintage which all of the parts interchange anyway.

Farley is 100% correct.  Tried to post earlier at work but got interrupted and had to delete.  Somebody totally bamboozled ya!    Funny how someone (ANYone) would take the time to move an ID plate; especially if it were woefully incorrect!     Regardless, if she checks out compression-wise she may be salvageable unless mileage is excessive.  Still a ton of parts for those old crossflows, and they were/are VERY simple, VERY repairable, and dang reliable engines (I still run 4 of them).
