My Dad's 70th birthday is coming up in January. My two brothers, my Dad & I have always marked significant milestones with fishing trips. We have gone to Costa Rica, Seattle and Key West in the past. This trip we are thinking about Naples because one of my brothers has a condo down there that we will use. Since my boat is still broken & may not be repaired in time, I was wondering if I could get some advice about a good fishing guide or boat rental service in the area. We would probably want to do some backwater, near shore and off shore.
Update on my boat - I went to court on July 25 & their attorney filed a motion to dismiss because I did not attach the contract to the Statement of Claim. He filed this 2-days before court which gave me little time to file my Amended Statement of Claim, but I got it filed in time. However, when we got to court the Judge had not had time to review either document so she postponed my pre-trial hearing until she can review the motions. We have a teleconference scheduled on the Sept 6th so the Judge can make a determination on the Motion to Dismiss. I am not an attorney but I am learning some stuff on the fly. From what I understand this delay & stall tactic is pretty common. It is the card you play when you want to keep something from being heard in court by the Judge. I'm a patient guy & will roll with it.
