Are there any suggestions to more accurately calibrate and display the remaining fuel using the Yamaha instrumentation panel?

It's true the bar style gauge is not very accurate, not many fuel gauges are, unless you get a fuel management system. You will get used to it after a while. If you google "Yamaha digital fuel gauge calibration"there are others with there same issue, happy days!

Pete makes good points, and in short, what you have is pretty much it. Bars, factory set. No consumer calibration.

However....there is no substitute for an accurate in-deck mechanical fuel gauge. Twist the pie plate and take a look. When ran twin Yamahas....always put faith first in the mechanical tank gauge versus the electronic gauge.

All boats should run a mechanical fuel gauge....and a real compass. Forget the smart this and that.....when you're in the fog....and your smart phone dies....and the batts die....old school will get you home.

I didn't realize you had a mechanical gauge installed in your rebuilt boat.  :thumleft:

Don't on that boat. You'd have to pull the livewell to see it.

Had it physically worked out though, it's cheap insurance.

It does have a compass
