Gawd...please let the week be over
« on: July 09, 2014, 01:52:00 AM »
It's been a wee bit unsettled around the homestead this week

We are having a new roof put on our house
We built the house 25 years ago and at that time I figured I would not live long enough to have to worry about ever replacing the roof
"Oh well" here we go again

A whole bunch of hammering 0n the roof going on to the point you cant even carry on a conversation in the house

Load of Cedar shakes

'Screw"   the tree huggers
We went with 1" jumbo shakes

Barb...that be my bride.... and Oliver ...that be our Yorkie.... are handling the noise so far ok.
"Buck" on the other hand ain't one "bite" happy

Roofers said they would be done by Sunday....we'll see

That really is a sweet home and setting :thumleft:

I recommend you head back to the island for the rest of the week.

Thanks guys

Right now the place looks like it went through a hurricane.

Rick, it's more like 45 square  :(

Let's just say it looks like I will be keeping the same boat for a while longer
