poly foam for stringers

Ive searched online but I cant seem to really find what im looking for.  I'm looking for 2 inch thick 3-4lb foam poly sheets that i can use for stringer core material.  (4x8 sheets).  Locally in the central Florida or Tampa area.

I don't understand exactly what you are going to do... Can you elaborate a little bit? Polypropylene/Polystyrene would not be advisable for stringer material in my opinion. The bond (with the resin) you will get to with those products is not going to be strong enough to rely on the foam as a structural element. However if you are just going for a lost mold, that would be a different story.

My plan was to use the same type of stringer material and design that LilRichard used, seen below.  I like the idea of not having wood in the stringers.

Ahhh, I gotcha now. I just went back and checked, Rick is correct he got it from FGCI.

That is Divinycell foam. It is made to be a coring material, totally different stuff than what I thought you were looking for.

Same here, was confused from the start. Thought you were looking  block foam to fill an existing stringer cavity. Then fill the rest with spray.
 
Since she's stripped....the current plan is a good one. As Carl says, good ain't cheap. The stringers are the foundation of your rebuild.
