Hi KO,

Just curious… what about this boat is holding you to her even in the light of major surgery?  There are so many risks to what has been done, what has not been done and the myriad of the other unknowns that just come with buying a used boat.  Whats so special about her?

Good question -  my rationalization:   1 - it's set up exactly as I want it -  hardtop, hull color,  motor,  hours, etc  2 - all other areas / components of the boat check out,   3 - surveyor is watching the re-install like a hawk -  ensuring all is done to abyc standards  4-  if I move forward (which I'm still awaiting the sea trial, final report et al)   even if I have to re-do what the previous owner is / has done w/ regard to the tank,  I am still ahead of the game.

For those reasons,  I'm still involved

Like Bob's suggestion, five year warranty on the tank, etc. :thumright:
