Ok, next question! So I need a bow eye for the 270, needs to be rated for min 10k lbs. The reason I am asking this is because I am not sure what size bow eye to use, not all bow eyes list their rated use!! I need it to be atleast 5 inches long, would love 6 inches. Anyone know a where to find one with my needed specs?! Thanks again everyone!!

We used Epco bow eyes at PL...http://epcomarineproducts.com/bow_stern_eyes/chart.php Scroll down, the 1601 is the one you want.

ok so the 1601 would be great at 7 inches.... but you have to be wholesale or oem to order from them on that site....

ok so ordered a 5/8inch x 8.5 inch bow eye, so should be more than enough for a 10k boat.
