Now that the boat/RV show has come and gone, wonder if anybody took any pics of an actual boat?
Nothing still on Ebbtide's site but their booth at the show listed both brands in the location flyer.
Hopefully they'll post something from the event, if there is something to post.

Trying to find some more info on these Aquasports,I gave a call to the Ebbtide plant, and got to speak with the Boss. This is what I was told..They are starting production with a 21 center ,23 center, and a 23 walk.Next up will be a 23 DC.the 23 is definitely the HS vector molds.they will be made with the same construction layups as hydrasports used ,heavy stringer system, all composite, including the Kevlar materials in the hull. They don't want get into the larger models, like a 29-32.should be available for retail-april or may 2014,maybe they will be 2015's by then. Also,Aquasport will be on display at the Boston boat show, end of Feb.Hopefully they will live up to their reputation as Great Blue Water Boats! :batman:

I like the idea of the 23 DC, nice big platform both for fishing and the family.  Interesting that they are staying with the Kevlar mix in the hull layup.  Hope the lam dept does some "practicing" with wetting out kevlar before they do some actual parts.  Kevlar wets out totally different than any glass or coring material such as coremat.  Should they need any guidance, I would imagine a good number of H-S lam people are still over at the MC plant in Vonore.

I also hope Ebbtide looks at how Aquasport was situated price-wise in the market back when Genmar was building them.  Always known for a great "value", many standard features that were options on similarly priced boats.  The Tournament Master packages were a tremendously good value, the packages saving the customer thousands in comparison to adding all the options as stand-alones.  The last couple years of my time there, I would venture to say that 75% of the Ospreys and Explorers were TM equipped boats.

In other words, I hope they do their research.  Curt Jarson, who was VP of sales for the longest time and an AS expert, is readily available on LinkedIn, but, seeing as Ebbtide has been in the business for a while, I would imagine they have been asking some questions to some folks in the industry...

Curt's a cool dude.  I was sitting at my desk a few years ago at Proline, working on the computer, Johnnie Walker comes strolling in the engineering office (ignore him, maybe he'll go away!), says, "Bob, like you to meet our new head of marketing...", swiveled around, there stood Curt.  "Hey Bud, how you doin'?  Long time no see!"  Johnnie's like, "Oh chit, these 2 know each other..."

You know as well as I do, the boat business is a small world.  Always keep those bridges intact, never know when you might cross them again...

That is spot on with what they told me when I called Ebbtide before the holidays.  We didn't get into the layup schedules though.

Can't wait to see the new models! The aquasport name alone should sell boats,I checked the exhibitor list for the Miami boat show,no ebbtide or aquasport, but that doesn't mean I won't be on the lookout!
