I'm heading over to my parents for Christmas and wanted to take my dad out fishing one day next week, probably just some trout or something inshore (drifting the grass beds on the Indian River around Jensen Beach)... I have not fished out of a boat there in probably 3 years and have no idea where to find bait. any ideas as to good starting points? (is bait still on the flats or have they moved to deeper water). thier house is close to the jensen beach causeway, we'll be heading out just north of that...
gameplan so far is looking for birds, chumming and cast-netting like i do over here.
