Quitcherbitchin Bob!  Chicago's temps today were 21 for a high, 11 tonight.  Yeah, I'll take FL!!
I know right?
We complain when we are in the 60's.
What a joke, some people do not see 50's for the whole Winter.
We will be mid 70's most of the week.
No complaining from me.

We ain't been above freezing for better then a week,
Not real cold lows at night high teens, highs during daylight  high 20s low 30s
What po's me is the wind we have had ...screwing with my fishing  :x
Winds been blowing out of the NE for the last week also, driving the windchill to single digits.....yea guys there are times when the boat don't leave the shop

Oh we'll, could be worse. At least the skies been clear and no snow.

Another Fabulous Florida Sunday!  Had plans for a 7am fishing trip, fishing partner called at 6:30 and said he was nauseous and he was hugging the porcelain. Went back to bed for an hour then got up and wash and waxed Old Blue.

More ice due here Tuesday.

One forecast has CJ getting 12-14 inches of freezing something.

Good luck over there John :salut:

Explain the colors my bro.  Unless the pink means most of SC and Coastal NC is celebrating breast cancer awareness...

The purple down towards Jesse is ice.

The pink is ice, snow, then freezing rain.

The royal blue west/northwest toward CJ is sleet, then a lot of snow.

The yellow around the house here and Southport/Oak Island is sleet and freezing rain. Basically, the 48 degree ocean temp is just enough buffer along the southern coast to keep it from being as rough as it will be inland. Notice how the Cape of Fear juts out closer to the gulf stream in relation to the rest of the coast. Tough during hurricane season though.

Back to the colors...notice just northeast of my place the yellow peters out. Latitude takes over.

JD is only 85 miles due north or so as the crow flies. This time of year, can make a world of difference. Last time we had 2 inches of ice, they had ten inches of snow.

65 degrees on Sunday - went out for a boat ride!     Snowing now here on Lake Norman...  :x   Forecasts for us are all over the map.   Some weather guys/girls say 4-6" - some say more, some say less.  I don't have to go anywhere for the next couple days, so I just stocked up on antifreeze  :drunken:  Guess we will just hang out and watch what happens...  :smurf:

John, been watching your weather over there brother....no telling how much you're gonna get. This thing is SLOW moving. Just a big bank of precip in no hurry to go north and east.

If you get bored, come to the beach! Beautiful here...Wind NE at 22, 31 degrees with freezing rain. Ice in the trees :?

Roads good so far. Sticking around work hoping can sell a watch battery. Great margin in watch batteries

If ya'll decide to come, I'll make us up a batch or three of CJ's famous "Life of the Party" Margaritas   :rendeer:
