Well, I guess I will twist the blade a bit.
After a cool 64 degrees overnight.
We had a very cool 76 degrees today.
Heading to 80 for the weekend.
I guess it is shorts and tees, right Bob?
Sunday, I might head down to San Diego for some Yellowtail fishing
(Amberjack).

All kidding aside, you guys stay warm and safe.

Thanks very much guys!

We had a great stroke of luck overnight. Wind switched to the S, warmed up to 40 overnight.

Ice is melting good.

Over here at the sis in laws, power still out at work and the house. Tough doing biz with no power....Grinch stole Valentines this year.

Oh well....this kind of thing makes you appreciate how much we take for granted. Like electricity and heat

Dave, looks like its headed your way...be safe

We got a hell of a line of storms yesterday aft, but moved through quickly.  If the winds up your way were anything like ours, Scotty, well, that must have been a beetch with the snow and ice!

Today, VERY windy, we're sitting at 52* right now, don't really see it getting much warmer.  But we can deal with that, as by Saturday, should be back in the lower 70s!

Snowing harder today than ever...     It's really coming down out there!  Looks like we will wind up with a foot or so of snow.  Just glad I don't have to go anywhere right now...   :thumright:

I made home from a safety meeting (how ironic) as the blizzard reLly hit.. I followed Capt Johns example:

It is 22 degrees in the barn so I have easy access..

Now all is good! There are few problems that $20 Of good German antifreeze can't fix.. :thumright:

Was that $20 just a few glasses or the whole mini keg?  Hard to tell the size of the keg - looking at what I think might be pretty good size nails in the rear of the pic I'm guessing 10gal?

Ahhh, not having to drive home from the garage is always nice.     I used to enjoy Kulmbacher bier when I was in Germany.  Nice stuff.

Perfect timing for heading to Maui..only I aint the one heading there. Had to take my daughter and son in law to the airport yesterday morn and this is what we woke up to.
Had to take my wife rig cause we didn't want to get their luggage wet, it be one of those smart all wheel drives. Great fricking idea...by the time it senses slippage it be too damn late.
We got them to the airport and got back home with no more then a dozen or so "WTFs"
Weather man really nailed the forecast this weekend, called for 1 to 3" of snow, by 5pm we had better then a foot.
This was taken at 2 in the afternoon. Buck is liking this stuff

This next photo was taken around 4pm. We had to head back to the airport to pick up my daughter..Alaska had finally canceled their flight.

This is my neighbor pulling my wife's car back home after I got it high centered in our driveway.   About the time we got in my rig my daughter called to tell us they had found another ride

This is what I arrived to this morn at work...don't think I will be getting that one inside to start on today. With the 30 mph NE winds we had, luckily it was 12" of wet snow and didn't drift near as bad as it could of.

Weather man called for rain...this was at 9 this morn, darn funny looking rain

Just got back in the office, was outside pulling some dumb ars salvage yard driver out of my back lot.
Idiot shows up this morn to pick up 2 totaled cars. I tell him you might want to try another day cause my lot is plugged up with snow. He just gives you that dumb "I dont understand look"
Well I tell him I will try to dig out the gate open.....I quess where he came from they don't know what a shovel is...he jumps back in his truck and watches me shovel snow.
Well I get the gate open for him and I tell him "point blank" he can try to get the cars but if he gets stuck you shut it down, I don't need a bunch of ruts in my lot. Well you quessed it..I no sooner get back in the shop and one of my guys hollers at me that the guy is stuck and digging himself deeper by the second. Half of the lot has no snow on it at all and what does he do, He backs directly into that deep drift behind the black Nissan...and that ain't even the car he was after  .
Needless to say I lost it  :x he never got to either car, it took both my 4wd pickups hooked in tandem to pull the stupid sob out out of the ruts.

It's going be a long week !!
