Stay safe, our northern brethren, and DAMN this beats Chicago!!

A smidge of a cold snap, Scotty.  Lows at night in the 50s?  I can deal with that.

We'll get our nippy temps, usually not until Feb/March.  So right now...I'm happy!

No kidding Bruce, we should have 3 inches of ice by now.. Instead, I moved 50yd of gravel with the tractor 2 days ago, it started out great, it was 25 but sunny, 3hrs later it was 35 and the ruts were up to the ax, thank the tractor gods for 4WD.  When the mud got to bad, it was time for some hand work with the rock rake.  Sweating up a storm in just a t shirt and jeans..  Next morning it was 18 and overcast with 2yd to go, the trusty John Deere broke through the 2 inches of frozen dirt to make more mess..

SB you gotta have a good hat to keep them toes warm then you won't need socks with the slaps  !

Can see it now, t shirt, shorts flip flops and a tuk.... LMFAO

Thanks for fixing the pic. I am using my iPad and I'm not sure how to rotate the photo. It looks right when it prior upload but sideways in the gallery. However, i see correctly on the post when viewed with my iPad. Crazy.

On the membership number....
I learn something new everyday on CAS.  Thanks for letting me know I had it wrong. I had no idea until you told me.

Glad you enjoyed the picture. The real thing is a lot better. Buy the way... The vehicle tracks on the beach at the bottom of the pic were caused by trucks. Right now, the state is re-nourishing (hauling in sand) the dunes that suffered erosion caused by the waves of a big storm that passed offshore a couple or so years back. I believe it was T.S. Sandy. The worst of it hit us at high tide... Bad combination.

Sorry for my digression.... This is only distantly weather related... I didn't mean to hijack this thread.

Beauty pic, when I lived in O-Town, I was over at Cocoa all the time, Satellite just being a wee bit south.

Here's my pic for the thread, taken just about this time last year, a mile or so N of the wonderful little town of Hernando Beach...

Might as well be today...
