I just might have a line on a local 31 here.
A friend of my dads might sell his.
It is an awesome boat and she shows really well.
Best thing, he has owned her since new, has all the records and service, upgrades.
Really a clean boat and well taken care of.
I will see him at Thanksgiving, we will see??

I will post up some photos as it progresses.
I know this is not an Aquasport but there are some here who are interested in the developments.
If it is ok, I would like to keep the thread updated.

Thanks Bryan

Bryan, gas motors or diesels?  You know my preference...

Dude... It is a classic, it's pretty, it's V-bottom hard chine, it's a BOAT!!  How sweet would that be with a pair of water jets?!?

Absolutely, post away! That is probably the most famous boat ever made :thumright:

Thank you Scotty, I appreciate it.
They are an awesome boat, for sure.

I fished one of these back in the 1970's, couldn't afford one back then, always loved the way it rode.
This one is really nice I believe, will post once I know more.
At this point, its only money right?

Dave that site is awesome,
Sorry we missed you at the reunion in NC, maybe next year?

Yes, they are gas.
They were new crate motors back in 09.
If this does become my retirement boat, I would most likely install a pair of diesels.
What the hell its only money :)
As my dad says, no pockets on the coffin, right?

Keep the Crusaders. You may change to diesel, but it is not cost/resale effective.

Will post a link tomorrow to Pascoe's thoughts on gas v. diesel on sportfishermen 34 feet or less.

Great information, thanks very much.
I think I recall reading this some years ago?
Excellent information.
I believe I will see this boat before Thanksgiving.
If so, I will be posting photos.

Thanks for all the interest and help

As long as it passes a survey, I will at least make a solid offer on it.

I would love to see it.
If you could post up photos, I would appreciate it greatly.

Thanks very much
