Is it this model? It does have most of the numbers and letters, just not in the order you show.

I'd start here.

Conga, is it the same model in the link Capt. Bob posted above?  If so, did you buy new or used?  If used, the antennas for those models are know to go bad. I recommend trying with a different antenna to see if that corrects the problem. Good luck.

Following that thought, note that the second link has several troubleshooting tips related to antenna selection.
We may be on to something here.

Good luck.

Was a constant never ending problem on lowrances I owned over about 6yrs never had one of ten plus units last longer than about 6 months It happened with both built in antena and external antena units "GPS module not responding"
I had two units and one was always in the mail, they would simply send back a recconditioned unit. When they changed to a new model they wanted me to pay to upgrade so I bought a Garmin
Think when they switched to the new style units it finally did solve the problem (poorly sealed unit h2O damage, moisture)
Send it back to lowrance if you registered it and they will pro rate a new model.

Go with the professional guide's advice. Get a new Garmin.

Only Lowrance GPS antennas will work with the LCX series...and they are pricey.  I tried wiring in a Garmin puck, a Raymarine puck...no dice.  Basically, unless you just want to use it as a stand alone FF, might as well chuck it and follow Scott's advice... :thumleft:
