Any Info On This Model?

Does anyone know this boat? It looks like a 240, but obviously larger. I'm just curious because I have never seen this before and it intrigued me. This boat has been for sale for a while and it pops up every now and then on CL. I believe the first time I saw it, the owner had it listed for something like $49,900.

Looks like a 271. There was one on here about 3-4 years ago that a fellow bought for $1400 that had a foot of barnacles and oysters growing on it with twin 200 Johnsons that you may recall. Then there was some kind of
storm started when he was trying to sell it; I don't remember the details.

This member has owned several. Largest Osprey Aqua made at the Hialeah plant.
Search 271 or 281 Osprey. There is some but not a lot of info. Keith knows the model the best. A PM may get his attention.
Good luck.

Quote from former owner Keith Knecht.
"
It was the biggest Osprey Aquasport ever made. Like a 222 on steroids. Only made it for two years. Called it a 271 the first year and then a 281 the second year. They only made about 50. 9' 7 1/2" beam and 28' 10" long with the pulpit. 4700 # dry hull weight. A real tank but another great fishing boat

What's with the price on that thing? $19,000-$28,500?
I think $19 is stretch. Maybe if he had some newer motors on there.

I think the price was REDUCED $19K, making the asking price $28,500. But heck, that's a whole bunch better than the $225K for a comparable new boat....

Captain Bob, Rick, or anyone... Is there any literature or specs on this model. It looks like a fishing beast, and I may have found one that I am interested in.
