Thanks for posting the pics.  We had an excellent time.  My first mate Steve is already asking to go again.

Well we missed you SB, we snorkeled around and shot the breeze, had a great time :thumright:

I can't see so well, I got 17 by accident and the boat got about 600

The boys had some fun though. I would be in the water looking around, they were in the boat THROWING them at me, right in front of my mask. Big dummy didn't see those either    :thumright:  :thumright:

LMAO...That is just AWESOME.  Great weather, great time, great results.  SO jealous.  Gonna have to drag my sorry azz over there sometime soon.  Scallops are my favorite shellfish...like 'em even better than shrimp or lobster!  Thanks for sharing Scotty!

Cleaning the catch on the shores of Dunedin

I think I recognize that little beach in Dunedin. It's where the "mayor" made his guest appearance. Sorry that I didn't get to meet up with y'all last weekend. After blowing up the Suzuki 140, we were relegated to my buddy's pontoon that only did 17mph at WOT with eight of us on board. It would have taken forever to get down south to where you guys were anchored. Glad you cleaned up and hope to see you in Oct.

Next time you are in Homosassa, stop in and see Kevin Jenkins at Riverworks. His shop is right on the main drag by the river. He is a really talented metalworker who specializes in copper fish and nautical sculptures, and a helluva nice guy. He did a several year apprenticeship around 40 years ago in Taxco, Mexico and still utilizes a torch and hammers to create his sculptures. It is rare to find these old school artisans around anymore. His website is fishsculpture.com.

Good lookin' bunch Eugene :thumright:  :salut:

Sorry for the circumstances with the boat. It would have been a long run for you guys anyway, we weren't that far off Bayport.

Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality

Look forward to seeing you in October!!

Including the Homosassa River, the run is only around 30 miles to Bayport. That's not bad if we were running at 30mph on the Cabo, but it's a long row to hoe at 17mph with a 50 hp Merc Bigfoot at WOT on a 20 ft pontoon. Really bummed that we weren't able to catch up and pop a cold beer cocktail.

Well our buddy Nando is at it again this morn (I'm "working"), picked up the boat to head out with a buddy of his from Houston.  I made a sarcastic comment on "another cool breezy day", his buddy says "Yeah, it's nice"...HUH???  I guess when you just came in from 103 degrees and the same humidity, it IS pretty nice here...
