Yeah she's coming along well right now. Hope to have her in the water by mid July but not going to rush anything if it's not.

Yeah that 20ccp is a buddy's of mine we have been messing with a little. Been sitting for 5+ years. It's not getting a rebuild he doesn't have the money and I'm not sure if I can do another one..... The 222 Aquasport isn't anywhere near as bad as my 1965 Bertram 20 was!!!!

Drains are going to be plumbed under the deck and through the transom and most likely have a check value.

Just need to finish glassing the transom and just put knees under the cap along the sides hope to get it all done this week and flip it next week to gel bottom and sides. Went to home depot  and got some color samples so I can figure a color out.

When you do your drains please show some pictures and what parts you used to create them. I am in the same process right now on my rebuild. Need some ideas.

Fairing away and sprayed the bottom with gel. Waiting on the color to come in and going to spray the sides and transom. Then off to wet sanding and buffing.

Thanks. I think so was going to paint the inside but after working with gel after everyone says it's a pain I was happy with how it cam out. So just hope the sides and inside come out as good as the bottom.

What process did you use with the gel?  Any additive?

This is the clear I mixed in it made it spray like paint. I mixed it 50/50% with gel. Not the cheapest stuff out there. But for never spraying gel and hearing how bad it is and just to paint everything and roll the bottom....... I liked it a lot and happy with the turn out.

AdTech P-77. Was easy to work with except not much work time (4-6 Minute work life) was easy to sand in 15 minutes. Found out the hard way you want to sand it within 24 hours after that it was a lot harder to sand.

So, is that gel or paint?

Whatever it is, it does look nice!

If it is gel how many mils did you end up with?
