I think we saw that same storm driving over to Foley. Glad you got to go out with your family!
Didn't take the boat out yesterday but I did go surf fishing and actually caught the biggest pompano I have ever caught. Just shy of 3 lbs but man can they fight!
Cool looking fish and really good on the grill!!!

Oh No! I am way cooler than that guy!
He's too old school.
We went out again today. Made it out 10 miles to the Perdido bridge rubble reef. The water looks really nice, blue aqua crystal glass. Didn't have any hits but a boat near us did get a sailfish. Anyway here is another video. Enjoy!

On the way back into Cotton bayou we saw one of seabob's kids. I think its a 230 cat. Pretty neat looking boat. i can still hear Bob telling me what a pain they were to rig!

We finally caught something.
Then we had to throw it back, dang it!
ARS
Then we went a little farther offshore and I found the Allen liberty ship that was sunk in 1975. Check out the fish on the sounder Mostly the upper ones are spadefish. In among that stack were a couple of cobia one was about 60 and another about 25, which we could not get to eat. The big one missed my bait about two feet off the transom. We were out about 15 miles. We also saw several sailfish batting bait into the air with their bills. Really cool, water was that crystal blue aqua that just glows behind the boat in the propwash. Not very many weedlines but there were some scattered patches.
Videos to follow if they will ever load onto youtube!

Video time! Sorry for the wind noise at the beginning. This is cruising at about 3800 rpms. That gives me 29 mph. This was a really nice ride out!!!
