Need an outboard rebuilder to rebuild a powerhead
« on: June 23, 2013, 06:47:02 PM »
As some of you may know, I have made a deal with the man who's outboards I was looking into a few months ago.

There is a slight knock or tap in the standard rotation motor.
I would like to have someone do the rebuilding on the motor rather than purchase a replacement
powerhead.

I do believe these are good clean motors and I want it rebuilt.

Who do you guys recommend for doing a motor rebuild?
I am going to assume I will need to ship it to someone.
I would like to go with someone who can be recommended rather than just calling a shop out here.
I have no problem shipping it back east.
I will be in Hawaii for July and will not have the motors until some time in August.
The motors will be my Winter project this year.
As always I would like opinions good or bad.

Thanks in advance

Bryan
