1970 or 1971 17' CC
« on: June 18, 2013, 11:34:13 PM »
Hi everyone,

Joined a couple weeks ago when I picked up the 17' CC.  It came with a 2001 Suzuki DF90 4 stroke that is not running. She has been sitting for 3 or so years.
Hull is in good shape, was told the floor was redone 7 years ago and transom is solid. She has the original console, the lima bean rubrail and both transom live wells.

Picked up the hull, engine and horrible trailer for $1400  . Hour counter on the console show 140 hours but who knows.. ha ha

My wife said she didn't think I could buy a dirtier boat that the last one but I did. My son and I then named the boat "Dirty Girl"

I'll post some pics in a day or so.

Great site!!!

Yup, it was certainly dirty
When using our gallery you don't have to resize the pics, the gallery will do it for you.  Then there is a link in the top of each forum that explains how to post the pics in your topic, it's real easy.
Looking at the liner in the boat I would say the year is '71, maybe early '72.  At that time the liner changed in the aft corners to recess the cleats.
