Gelcoat Repairs
« on: June 05, 2006, 11:51:46 AM »
I have a 1985 Osprey.  I am in the process of restoring the boat.  It is in pretty good shape.  I do have some gelcoat cracks that I need to tend to.  They are getting bad around the transom.  Any advice???  Is is hard to match the color of the gelcoat?  I took some pictures, but I don't know how to post them for viewing.

I tried the mix & match gelcoat repair kit from Boater's World.  I really wasn't pleased with the result, but I was trying to repair spider webbing in the gelcoat.  It will come very close to matching if you mix it correctly
