SeaDek Helm Pads
« on: May 22, 2013, 02:23:49 PM »
Just spoke with the Marketing Director at SeaDek. They make high quality anti-fatigue deck pads for helm stations, etc. They can be custom made to any size,  color combination, or logo.

We will be sending them both Aquasport logos (old and new).  Here is an example of the product:

Sharp!

The more we order the cheaper they are. If you guys are interested, please visit their website and check it out  http://www.seadek.com/

Please PM me with interest. Would like to place our order four weeks from now.

From what I've heard, they are expensive and don't last long before they begin to degrade and deteriorate.

Well they're not cheap, and if they deteriorate they're not high grade.

Looked for negative reviews on the web, the reviews were positive but then again sounded like most were new owners.

SB, you're a member of Classic Mako, from what I understand several have been sold there....any feedback?

IMO one is better off investing in a pair of high quality deck shoes/sandals.  :thumright:

As guy with knee troubles from ice hockey and winter sports I can tell you that quality shoes help but a helm pad under foot can help ease not only the pain but associated fatigue.

I have had one for two years and love it, holding up well
Helps my back, at $100 it's cheaper than a chiropractor visit
Need to get one custom cut for my tower next

Could be depending on the cost - are we talking a mat for front of  helm or console or that place the contender has it?

I'm guessing they would make the logo (whichever font you chose) for a set up fee (like a T shirt) then apply it to whatever you wanted made at an additional cost to the product, say a helm pad, bolsters or platform pad.

That's how I see it too CB. It is 50 bucks. If we had 5 orders, 10 bucks each. Then it is on file for down the road.

Explorer owners, the small mat should be perfect. But they'll custom make any size.

I can call and get the black and white if you guys are interested.

Indeed.
I'll kick in.
I was looking at the bolsters but wanted a"custom" color combo. The extra $50 was a deal breaker at the time.
Yet, they're still on the radar. With the logo, they would be nice.

You got it fellas. Will call in the morning and report.

CB, those bolsters are highly functional....and badazz to boot.

Anyone else? New members, don't be shy. I'll be looking to needle a "club" quantity discount. These folks are active supporters and participants in charity events, fishing tourneys, sponsorships, etc.

Need firm commitments for ammunition. Our membership #'s.... plus lurkers....pretty strong. Will make a strong effort with a "deal" in mind.

Good looking, quality products. And sure as heck beats standing on fiberglass :salut:

Spoke with the marketing director. He has suggested I apply for dealership status.

Will keep you guys posted :thumright:
