Magic Tilt Cross-Member Weep Holes
« on: April 01, 2013, 08:56:09 PM »
I have a new magic tilt aluminum trailer.

There are no weep holes on the bottom side of the cross members.

All of my other aluminum trailers had a weep hole drilled in the center of the cross members.

Should I drill one?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Is your cross members aluminum or Galvanized ?
If they are aluminum it will not hurt to drill a 3/8 hole no bigger right in the bottom center.
But if they are galvanized they are going to rust if you do drill or if you don,t hard call .
you could drill a hole but keep plenty of paint on the hole area. really no good solution either way
