Photo Gallery Troubleshooting

Most of you know I'm technically challenged, so in my case this thread could be titled "Photo Gallery for Dummies".

Anyway, I've been messing with it, so here are a few observations that will make it EASY.

Go to Photo Gallery. You have to put your cursor right on the "P" to get it to open.

Go to my photos, upper left.  Then upload. Not that easy to find, "upload" is in dark blue at the top right of the page.

"Browse files"....you can browse and load any of your files, just like an e-mail attachment. You can upload to Photo Gallery as many as five at a time. The program automatically shifts from your selected file and back to Photo Gallery. Once you have chosen the photo file to upload from...this becomes your default file.

After you have made your photo selection(s)...scroll down and hit "upload/select". The black circle on the left will spin until it finishes.

Now here's the part you need to watch. You're not through....you must scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit "process". And it won't throw up a "hand" sign when you click "process"....you just do it, wait, be patient...and boom, your pics appear in your gallery, ready to post.

Posting to your thread is really easy. Open the new pic(s) , scroll to the far right toolbar, right click on the LOWER  URL (not the thumbnail, the big pic URL). Right click, COPY image. Then go to your thread...right click... and PASTE this image to your thread.

Sometimes due to file size, you can't upload all five pics at once from your stuff to the gallery. The file size overloads it....You'll know, because at the end you are never given the option to "process". Your stuff won't appear without the final ability to "process". So instead of all five at once...just do three or four. I'm guessing this is the reason you can only load one video at a time. If you can "process" your upload...and it loads...you're golden.

Anyway, its a helluva lot simpler than Photobucket.

I must have missed that comment the last go round.  
I will admit to eating there many years ago.....Wa. state high school basketball playoffs used to be held in Tacoma........ but I won't fezz up to hitting that post.  :eye:
