One Part Console Paint

Hey All,

Does anyone have recommendations for an easy to use, one part console paint with a good finish?  Spray or brush.  I need to touch up my old beat up console.  PO slopped on teak treatment right on the wood and didn't tape or anything.  From this experience with my hull adjacent to teak pieces, when cleaning or sanding this stuff off, the top layer of gelcoat will inevitably come off and you'll end up with these spotty gray areas that looks like chit.  So I think painting over it is a better option and will require less time.

I would say that interlux topside or petit would both give you what you are looking for , at a reasonable price , and many years of good service out of it, plus plenty of color choices. Both will turn out nice with the roll n tip method.

I've had good luck in the past with Pettit Easypoxy one part topside paint.  Dries to a nice high gloss.  You roll and tip it or spray it.  I've only rolled it on.  I think they now have a two part version available.
