Will this cowl from an 01' 200 Ficht fit my 99' 200 Ocean Pro carbed motor. The profile at the bottom looks the same?

The lower cowl (pans) look like the same profile as my cowling.  I know some of the ficht cowlings work on the carb models I'm just not 100% on this one.

I'd be worried about the forward part fitting over the powerhead...

From pictures I dug up online it looks like the 2001 Ficht 200 uses the same or similar airbox as my 99' carbed 200.  I've had mixed opinions, some say it will fit while others say it wont.

i know on the 150/175's, the fichs and the carb motors are interchangeable on the 2001-up motors(tested it), i may have a 200 hp ficht cowling at work and an plenty of ocean pro motors, if i have a cowling ill see if they fit for you

There you go, I still have my doubts on the air box but like I said on tht but maybe Aaron can find out.

My mechanic said it won't fit.  I found a 200 Ocean Pro cowling that I'm going to pick up on Saturday.  Thanks for everyones input.

i checked our pile of old cowlings, didnt have a +200hp ficht, hell we only have 2 boats in the high and dry that have fichts, and both are 150's
