Finally got her back
« on: January 29, 2013, 10:06:56 PM »
Well, as most of you know from Bob's post in the Electronics and Engines section that he's been working on a complete rewire on my boat.  Let me just say that the work is 10x more impressive in person than the pictures that he shared.  Finally picked the boat up on Sunday, gave her a bath and installed the teak that I clean-up while Bob had her.  Can you believe that at one point I had convinced myself to get rid of the teak altogether?  Glad I managed to convince myself that was a bad choice.

Bob, thank you for everything...all aspects of your work exceeding my expectations.  I tend to be a picky SOB and your work was stunning. :salut:  :salut:  :salut:  :salut:

'73 yes.  but a 340/4bbl.  small block, yes...but will still knock your socks off and chirp the tires between 1st and 2nd in the auto tranny w/slapstick option.

Damn she is pretty!!!  To hell with purists, the 340/4 will do just fine...

However, if I would ever get a '72 Chevelle SS, it would need a 396 and a Muncie 4-speed...
