A Little Perfection!
« on: January 14, 2013, 09:28:45 PM »
So after the fifth coat of Perfection paint (3layers of yellow on the sides and 2 oyster white on the bottom)I think I got it figured out. Less is better and do not not try to lay this stuff on with only 5percent reducer it reLly needs to thinned more(10 percent at 55f) and applied thin. We found the tipping method wasn't all that it's better to roll on with a foam roller and then litely back roll and it lays down awesome. I also ran the paint through a paint filter before I applied it and I wiped it with atact cloth which I didn't do on the earlier coats.Anyway that's a little FYI I still have another coat on the bottom and one on the side I will post some pics after I'm finished. So keep it clean and thinned it's a really cool finish.

Great advice. Thanks. Thats awesome paint but man the fumes :drunken:  Wholy cow! I since have a charcoal canister mask but man that was some wicked stuff to do a floor with. Hard as nails and held up fantastic.

I use a full face respirator with a chemical cartridge,I did end up taking it off on the last coats.I couldn't see well and I needed to be sure to cover it evenly.Very cool paint
