I have the "new" I pad, I have the life proof case for it.I was at the Fred Hall Fishing Show this weekend and purchased a float for it as well.(an orange kinda ring around the case).I bought this little thingy called a Dual universal gps. Here is what is really cool.I don't need the 3 or 4 g network. The Ipad works with the gps in wi fi mode.Works the same with an IPhone too.You do not use your phone network for data.I had 4 USB ports installed with my rewire as well.2 in the electronics box, 2 in the console.BTW I have Navtionics and Garmin downloaded apps.I have the ram mount for the t top It is a really nice little system.I really like it

Did I rad that wrong? I don't have a data phone and the pad is not 3G. Are the charts web based or device based??Thanks gents!!!
