Gas Shock Mounts for Seat (Suggestions?)

Hello AS Experts!
Reaching out to the team to see if anyone knows where to find replacement mounts for the gas shocks that lift and hold open the seat in the front of my consol. Anyone swap out theirs or find a good replacement and/or an exact match? Pics of the rusty buggers below. Please advise.

Take the old ones to any aluminum shop and have them make new ones.

While the mounts, as Nando said, can be fabbed by any metal shop, I'd consider replacing the struts as well. I recommend Ameritool...

I can get a pic of the struts on the Scarab I have at the house, same struts as yours...

Fernando is on the right track about making them out of aluminum angle... one thing I cannot see is the backside of the ball joint... is that bolted thru the angle or is it welded to it?

Agreed.
They supplied the new ones for my cabin hatch on the 210 WAC.
They have the brackets you need also.

taylor made makes a stainless replacement bracket
http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/st ... sNum=50683
also west has the struts too
http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/st ... sNum=50683
or in stainless$$$$
http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/st ... sNum=50683
Mine were getting rusty too,I used a HF cheap hand held sandblaster and some play sand, sandblasted the struts and brackets [my brackets were not as bad as yours] and painted the struts and brackets with rustoleum "rust reformer primer" and several finish coats of rustoleum hammered black.Seems to be holding up well for 2 seasons now,a little spray lube on em every now and then will help also.
Never understood why they cheaped out on those, painted steel on an offshore boat?
pic added....
