Berger,
The ground buses are direct from the factory, courtesy of MM&G who supplied our harnesses.  On my Ospreys, I coated the buses and the terminal strip with liquid neoprene, that ain't one of my boats there...

Your boat may have been built when I took my little "leave of absence" to go up to work for Hydra-Sports.  I oriented the little black fuse/breaker box horizontally, wires entering and exiting from the left side.  Bus bar mounted directly underneath.  The 3-pin molex connector you see in the pic?  Aft mounted anchor light base for those Ospreys without a t/top.  Should be dog-boned up and secured out of the way...

Yeah those bus bars have seen better days :puker: Seabob4 is also right that gregsmarinewire is where to buy your wire from, got all my wiring supplies there except bus bars and fuse box..They have good prices :thumright:  and great, fast shipping :thumright: ..Also you can order different colors of wire when ordering 100 ft rolls(ie..20 ft of red, 20 ft of black, 60 ft of blue etc) they let you break up the amounts by colors, helps keep your cost down..Looks like a winter project..Rewiring isn't to difficult as long as you can get comfy while making connections, nothing like on your back half in -half out of your console

Thanks guys...   Bob - I was hoping I had one of your boats.. That would have been kinda cool.  I am fortunate that I can sit inside my consol getting access through the lift up seat as there is a good amount of space in there.  That area needs a complete detail which will commence once the weather turns south here.   The PO told me that he and his wife took shelter in there when they got caught out during a bad storm but I was wondering if you guys have seen that space outfitted with storage or custom boxes.  Any suggestions on how to utilize.

Now the stern/transom area is a completely different story.  Had a courtesy light issue on the port side..  OMG - no way to get there unless I cut a new hatch or stretched my arms another 3 feet.  Went for the surface mounted LEDs by Hella but dang..  And getting to the bilge pump....  that is a lesson in being a contortionist or fun for my friends 12 year old son.  HaHa.

B,
Yes, the courtesy light on the port side underneath the gunnel cap is impossible to reach.  Even if you have a transom shower (believe yours does), that doesn't help because it is on the inboard side of the walkthrough...

When I wired the helms on Ospreys, I'd simply lift up the seat, climb inside, sit down indian style with my tools and materials directly behind me, very comfortable helm to wire.  The backend?  PITA!  As far as bilge pump access, do what Pete and Marc did on there Ospreys, install an access pie on the aft vertical face of the fishbox...

And all looks healthy back there Pete!  The brown discoloration on your ground bus, looks like Corrosion-X or the CRC anti-corrosion spray...

I have a 4" pie plate on the port side of my walk thru to get to the courtesy light.  Easy as pie  Well at least until you drop the wire and it disappears!

Sure if you could see the thing...  those little white and black wire flat out vanished!   Amy was small enough to get in there and find it!
