The boat is 2 and a half hours from me.  She has an enclosure, new gauges but outdated electronics and no trailer.  She has a 250hp Yamaha engine with about 400 hrs and the broker reported that she was not damaged in Sandy.  Finally she's listed at $17,900 and that seems pretty cheap for an Aquasport 250 Explorer up here from what I've seen on the net.

ive seen a nice lookin 245 with twins and a trailer in our area for sale for 16k, im sure some of the bretheren could help with transport :idea:  :thumright:

Lol. Fellas I hit the mother load!! Well not really but I did get my insurance money. I do like that 250 but mostly because its newer and I like the Yamaha engine but its not as attractive if I have to buy a $5k trailer. But after looking at these other boats, the original 245 keeps finding its way to the top of my list.  :D

Hey Bob,

I've seen that boat many times.  Both engines are rebuilt.  I have one rule I live by, don't buy anything from Gibsonton, that's Carney town :)!  I'll find you another better one at a better price.
