1997 Aquasport Explorer 215 xtra Cuby Wire Harness

I found this wire harnes on the starboard side of my cuby. I also see a cut out for a radio that is covered by the interior rug.

Does anybody know what these wires are for? Is this for a stereo systems?

The presence of red butt connectors (18GA-22GA) are dead giveaways to stereo wiring.  I would say the other leads are for a windshield wiper...
