Transom Saver Question
« on: June 22, 2012, 05:42:51 PM »
I have a 200 Osprey on a trailer with the aft roller/beam tucked up under the transom out of a direct line-of-reach for the trailer-end of a traditional transom-saver. There is no part of the trailer far enough aft against which to directly brace the spring-loaded saver-shaft. Any ideas?

I found a T-saver from Attwood that has an extended, bent shaft designed for such applications which I have ordered and will try out.

Same issue with my trailer. I picked up a M-Y Wedge and it works great. I believe others on here have it as well.

Customer of mine uses that exact same transom saver (with the "bent" support tube) on his Ranger flats boat.  No problems at all...

Corner of 520 and A1A...
