Advance Auto Parts and most others carry it.

West Marine also sells some in a very small tube but it's about 15X as expensive.

I started out with the Dow #4 when I could get it free at work.  Grainger's has it for about twice what the Permatex brand costs.

I just bought a can of this at HD. Sprayed it on my battery terminals. Haven't had it on there but a week so who knows if it will work.

True dielectric grease is silicon based and as such has insulating properties. It works well on battery post connections after the cable to post connection is made dry and then slathered on to reduce corrosion. Vaseline/petrolatum will also work in this situation because heat is not a major factor. Silicon has a much higher heat resistance and works very well under the cowling. I use it on the spark plug boot connections to keep them from sticking to the plug.

Vaseline is cheaper and has many additional uses around the house, for the progressively minded individual.

Roy, that's the first I've seen of that Blaster product.  I use the regular PB Blaster religiously, will have to check it out.  Just got back from HD, see they are now carrying the spray-on liquid electrical tape...

Bob I picked up a can of that blaster stuff a while back... I forget where though...  haven't had it long enough to see how well it works but it sprays out as a clear grease like product.

Spray it on your powerhead Bruce.  While I like the CRC anti-corrosive and Corrosion-X, they leave behind the goopy kinda brown residue...

I have some type of thick (goopy) corrosion spray on my powerhead that the last owner sprayed on. It's a little messy but there is zero salt or corrosion on the power head.
