I fish Ochlockonee Shoals which lies to the east of your camp. You appear to be located on the tributary that becomes the Crooked River. There is a bridge just east of your position and you can run all the way to the Gulf from there. Can you get under the bridge? I don't know. Never tried but I've had my CCP up the river to the State Park and wandered around in some of the narrower sections so you shouldn't have problems with a shallow draft boat. Large boats are seen docking at the Park opposite Chesley Island. I don't fish up there and while the bay is a mile wide in spots, the water can shallow up real quick. I stayed in the marked channel.
Redfish and trout are the main fish, though I would imagine you will find a mixed bag. I rarely see many people fishing in the bay itself (I crossed it twice daily for 2 1/2 years) but fishing around the Gulf side (Apalachee Bay) is popular with the locals. Bald Point and the Shoals (grass/sand) are still producing fish, though this is the slow time of year due to the warm water. Not sure if my Bay chart goes that far in but I'll check tomorrow. When do you planned to visit?
Your lease is in the area of St. Joe's land holdings in Franklin County (the blue line in the river in your pic is the county line between Franklin and "Willkillya") on infamous St. James Island.
Good luck.
