Question about transducer cable

On my '76 170 will having the transducer cable running in the rigging tray will all the other wiring and battery cables cause a problem with the signal?

I ask this b/c I just replaced the fuel tank and can install a conduit from the console to the bilge area for the cable.

I have a humminbird 798 CI Si and run the transducer cable (bunched and tied) down the front of my console with the cb, radio, compass lights, speaker wires and antennas.  It then branches off and goes down the control tunnel with all the steering/fuel/ oil, bilge wiring, washdown wiring.


and I have perfectly clear side imaging sonar and GPS performance.

I know the cable is shielded but it's good to know it works fine. That's a great unit you are using.

No problems whatsoever.  It is how 99% of the ducer cables out there are run...
