The early 240 models were a modified V hull, with a similar deadrise to the 22-2 of about 12 degrees.  Later in the 1970s came the CCPs, FFs, XFs, and CCCs with the deep-V (20 degree deadrise) hulls.

I have a 1971 240 seahunter. It has a 14 degree deadrise at the transom.
