Wanted to share my boat with the rest of the community.
I purchased this boat last year from fishcole after seeing it for sale on this forum.
I havent done much since i purchased it but before the summer months take off again i decided to freshen her up.
A few pics below of new non-skid, swim platform, and progress.
She'll be at quality-T for the next two weeks getting a t-top made and will share that once finished.

I've got a 1986 19-6 and was thinking about replacing the helm seat. What have you installed over the structure I see? Where did you find it and is it able to be used for storage? Thanks.

I'd guess you could store bait in there, both dead or alive.

They are called a sit on top livewell. They are available single wall (a standpipe is used as the drain) or double wall (the drain is between the walls)

They were popularized by Dorado. There are many clones out there. The less expensive ones have the floor lip as shown, more expensive with the internal mount. Just depends on where you want to be.

They are great at keeping fish alive, they will also hold rusty pliers, empty aluminum circular containers aka dead soldiers, vienna sausages, soda crackers, and fried chicken.

If you want the best...contact this gentleman:

Yeah.. what I was thinking    there is a story of years ago, where a piece of slag flew off, and landed in a very inappropriate place, and as it continued to burn through the light clothing I had on, and finally came to rest on a very sensitve area of my body as it slowly cooled, talk about getting shorts off very quickly
