That was an eye opening set of videos.  Scary for them I'm sure.
I bet the Capt would have been in deep doodoo when those 12 planes started dropping out of the sky.....

Forty foot pitching decks? Unbelievable. Great post Marc, thanks!

And here's to Pensacola, the US Navy, and next in the series, Marc's Blue Angels

the night landings are the toughest, basicly an instrument approach,he never talked about the pitching deck,I'll ask,he did have his instuments go out and had to land,on the carrier at night with out them, very scary stuff ,but this is what these young men do day in and day out.

Marc,

Watching that video caused a lot of memories of my time in to flash through my mind.  We got outstanding training at NASP, Whiting and then on to the RAGs to help prepare us for whatever was to come...  For that, I am eternally greatful.....

Thanks for posting :salut:

Marc,

Really great vids, and we are certainly thankful for you Navy guys, especially you carrier folks that put so much talent and energy into naval flight ops.

All that said, these naval aviators are truly in a class by themselves. Wow.  :salut:
