Let's see, $100 for a pair of LED waterproof lights or $3.50 for a set of bulbs? Pretty simple math in my book. Yes bulbs do burn, that is certain. I have not replaced a bulb in 9+ years on my submersible lights. If one is replacing bulbs often there must be a short.
