170 Burn Rate?

OK FOLKS, LETS GIVE THIS A GO.
Have a 170 with a yamaha 115 2 stroke. Running a 17 inch pitch prop.
I've seen some real wishey-washy figures out there.....but I'm wondering what type of range I can expect on a 27 gallon tank.
Let's assume i'm crusing around 3500 RPM...I'm hoping to be around 30 MPH. The figures show burning around 12-13 GPH at WOT. Anyone running a simliar setup that can help me out here?
This really isn't that important, but I'm wondering about how far I can get to a tank of fuel.

the way I figure, if I run it dry, I could get about 120 miles.

My 170 with 90/115 burns about 6 gals per hour at about 30 mph. So I figure I'd get about 120 miles also.

Rick, did you disable the oil injection? If not, hoe much oil do you burn per tank?

I premix and use 1 qt for each 12 gal. I think I have a 24gal tank or very close to it.

Derail question...
From what I can make out, you left about the tab left in the boat for the new deck.. Is that part of the liner or is that glassed to the hull? Just wondering what is going to hold the deck, liner hull together.. I can't zoom in enough and get good enough resolution to make it all out..
Resolution, yeah that's it, I’m not givin my optometrist another $100 for glasses that I can only use half the time! :pirat:

Didnt leave any tab. Putting the deck in, filet the corners, then glass the floors directly to the liner, Tabbed with 1708, then the decking with 1208

I have a 175 with a '97 johnson 90 on the back. I'm curious to see what she will get when I get her out on the water for the first time.
