Ed, you're gonna have to explain this one.  I mean, Teleflex has Big-T, Safe-T, Quick-T type steering helms...so, which one do you have?

I saw that before...boat's in the Bahamas and there's not body to take it off. I'm here and flying down next week. just wanted someone who might have changed one and knew the size. Buying that in the Bahamas would clean you wallet out if you could even find it.

I would bet a 17 footer would be perfect.  I just did a swap on a customers 21' cat boat last week, used a 17' cable, had enough to reach a center mounted (his had twins, starboard motor mounted much closer to the starboard side) motor no problem...
