Any suggestions on Trim Tabs

Im looking for Trim Tabs for my 22-2 EF. Do you have any idea on what size and brand can I get?

Two sides of the fence on this question.  There is Bennett hydralic trim tabs and Lenco electric trim tabs and both have their followers.  One of our members, Tabman, works for Bennett and he is knowledgeble, very helpful and a get resource to this forum. I myself prefer the Lenco trim tabs, I find them to be more responsive. I'm certain others will chime in with their respective opinions, good luck.

Blue is right on your choices.  The Lencos are a simpler install since there is no hydraulic power unit.  But then some will argue that an electric actuator is more susceptible to problems in salt water.  I think that is only a cause for concern if the boat is kept in the water.  I have Bennetts and I like them, but I have never used the Lencos either.  I'm sure Tabman will chime in here soon and suggest the proper size for your boat.

I have Lencos and love them!  Don't bother with the LED indicator - you will quickly learn by feel where they should be, not by sight of red dots.  Also, I made the mistake of getting the automatic tab retractor.  I hate it as every time I turn off the engine they make a terrible noise for about 10 seconds.  Fish haven't been spooked by my rolling up with my engine on, but I cut it off and the auto retract comes on and the leave behind dust/mud clouds.

Are you have heard of Boat Leveler Co. they are on the economic side but any imputs on them.

I run lennco's with the most simple rocker switch available, no electronic modul, led lights,auto retractor etc its just less to go wrong. Simplest to install too. I keep my boat on a lift
I've heard if you keep your boat in the water go with Bennets, but I have no experience with them, just the fact Tabman has awesome customer service.
No matter what tabs you get you will be amazed at what they do for the ride of your boat.

I will leave the choice of brand to the others since I'm a bit biased  

For your 22-2 choose 12" x 12" (Bennett, Lenco or Boat Leveler) or 10" x 12" M120s (Bennett).

If you have a swim platform the M120s need the least amount of vertical space of all the choices and make fitting the Trim Tabs under it quite a bit easier.  If you decide on Lenco, look at the 12 x 12 "edge mounts" if you have the swim platform, the require less vertical clearance than their standard models.

I'm biased too, my Bennetts are 12 years old and work great, i had one problem about two weeks ago and Tom from Bennett took care of it right away for me, you just can't beat that.
