i see all kinds of weird chit down here... usually drug related.

I know what you mean Aaron, but these people were...regular.  And if there were drugs involved, I'm sure the deputy sheriff's would have hung around a lot longer, and had some sense of urgency.  As it was (and I watched the whole thing), it was like, "OK, got a dead body in here (or 2), call the ME, secure the house, and have a doughnut!"

All 3 of the owner's vehicles still there, unmoved, the dog is still gone...just gotta wait and see...

Maybe the dog did it????

I feel a little guilty finding humor in that ..

Ahh, Jess, JJ was close, but...if the dog did it, the cops would have hauled his a$$ away!!

Anyway, nothing has been heard, last night a relative went over there to turn on a couple lights inside, then came back later to turn them off.  Today?  Same relative was by for a few minutes...

A little background.  The man we bought our house from is the father of the wife who lived there.  They live in upstate NY and have a winter place a few miles from us.  The wife's sister lives 2 properties over from them.  They have other relatives about 1 1/2 miles away.  So, the family that stays together...

Eventually things will come out.  Until then, it's just real quiet over there.  The dog is cool though, an older Welsh Corgi named Nigel, he'd come over and poop in our yard while Baby watched him, she would go over to his yard and do the same...almost comical, but they didn't seem to mind...

So, just a little update in regards to the neighbors.  Still haven't figured out what happened.  Haven't read chit, internet, papers, obits, death notices, whatever.

Been a flurry of activity this week by various relatives.  Them using both his vans, the wife's Continental being moved here, there, wherever.  Now, today?  Lots of cars, yet no yard sale sign or anything like that...

And of course, Maggie and I being the nosey neighbors we are...

It was a wake...pretty sure for the wife, although may have been for both.  About 40 cars there...

May never know how things went down...

JJ, yeah, read about that, where the victim and murderer live is in the same neighborhood as the main Publix we shop at.  Interesting, she was a St. Pete Times delivery person.  We get the Times...I wonder...
